This class will prepare pieces to use in outreach opportunities. Performance numbers will range in style from Show tunes in a show choir style.

New students may request an audition with the director if the student has a year or more of dance experience and would like to join the class. 

 

Boys and girls are welcome.

 

Students will learn form, technique, and terminology for jazz and hip hop movements and will learn how to turn, and leap as well. Students will sing with the accompaniment for these numbers!

 

We will use upbeat Christian music, some Broadway, and other show tunes to choreograph wholesome and fun dances to share in our outreach ministry opportunities. Styles of dance will vary from hip hop to jazz to theatrical.

This class is for students ages 10-20. No prerequisites are required to take this class.
