With lifelong experience in the life-changing influence of Christ-centered performance outreach, Christina desires for this academy to provide a spring board for students to refine their skills and use them for the glory of God.

Mrs. Anderson has a wealth of knowledge, and her gentle manner, joyful spirit, and kindness are a delight. She is loads of fun, and we're thrilled to have her continuing teaching our students at SonShine.

Harmoni Pliego has loved performing and fine arts from a young age, driven by a desire to share the beauty of the Original Artist. She is passionate about guiding children to use their gifts to bless others.

Geoffrey has been a full-time musician for over 18 years now. He's toured the US, Canada, & UK, writing/recording/producing for various artists & bands, and mentoring students along the way. Music and mentorship has been dear to his heart, and he wants to continue passing it on to others. He’s served at several churches and currently leads worship at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall, TX. 

Mrs. Lively has been passionate about the dramatic arts for as long as she can remember. She has had the opportunity to teach classes focused on theater appreciation and production for over twenty years, and co-founded our Theater Troupe which has grown into three separate theater groups.

With 15+ years of experience, Anna loves inspiring young dancers to glorify God through movement, creativity, and discipline, drawing from her extensive teaching at camps and churches.

She offers the unique option of learning to play by ear and teaches transposition and improvisational playing for advanced students. Mrs. Johnson's knowledge of music, and joyful, gentle demeanor are a wonderful blessing to all of her students.

Mrs. Dys’ expertise in piano and advanced theory helps students build confidence, refine technique, and develop a deeper love for music through personalized instruction and guidance. She will be great a benefit to her students with some prior lesson experience.

Lucy has a lifelong love for the performing arts. She has taken music lessons since the age of 8 and recently earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. She is passionate about theatre and grew up directing and acting in productions. As an alum of the academy, she is excited to teach the next generation of SonShine students. 

Alexis Maldonado has many years of dance and performing experience.  She loves all forms of dance, but has an extensive ballet background.  She is passionate about helping students gain strength and confidence in class, on stage, and most importantly in their walk with the Lord. 

Carly Addison is a private music instructor and Music Director of the Greater Rockwall Youth Symphony. She has over 13 years of experience teaching violin, viola, piano, and voice, and previously served as an award-winning orchestra director in Wylie Independent School District and other school districts. Her students have consistently earned top honors in regional competitions and UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluation.

She enjoys serving her church and community and gives God all the glory for His blessings.

Erin has been a tremendous help to SonShine since it's inception, and we could not do what we do without her countless hours of work both in administration, and in coordination of events and class times. Erin is invaluable, bridging the gap between the instructor and parents every day.

Mr. Johnson has been working unpaid for SonShine in various technical and managerial roles over the years, and now works officially part-time as SonShine's marketing manager, overseeing social media and website development alongside Mrs. Keathley.

Bekah Keathley has been dancing since childhood, performing in hip hop, modern, lyrical, show choir, and ballet. Now living in Kansas, Mrs. Keathley works remotely as an administrative assistant at SonShine, continuing to pour back into the community she grew up in.
