About the event

"Coventry Reserve is a day program that provides life enrichment opportunities for adults with special needs, once they no longer qualify for public school programs. [Their] programs promote engaged and creative learning, and are structured to address the mental, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of [their] participants." -Coventry Reserve, Wylie

Classes Involved:

  • Ensemble
  • Worship Band

Performing Times:

Two 30 minute sessions:

11:35 to 12:05 and 1:05 to 1:35

With lunch in between

Arrive at 11:15, done by 1:45/2:00

While at Coventry, SonBeam's Ensemble and Worship Band will perform, and lead Coventry students in worship through singing songs, hymns, and spiritual songs for the glory of Christ. There will be two sessions, both 30 minutes long, both containing the same pieces, performed for two different swapping audiences each time. Less of a performance and more of a leading, teaching, and example-setting opportunity, the students of the two classes will not only sing for the students, but they will help the students to sing along with them, get out of their comfort zone, and to point the focus onto Christ as much as possible.

Family members are welcome and encouraged to come watch, and visit with and get to know the coventry students!
